Controlled Parking Zones (CPZs)
Controlled Parking Zones (CPZs) are areas where on-street parking is controlled during specified times. They are the most effective way of managing parking and are commonly used in busy areas across the UK
Estate parking controls are different to the on-street parking restrictions. Please see the 'Estate parking' section for more information.

About MA and MD (match day controls)
When choosing your controlled zone while buying permits or visitor vouchers, you may be asked to choose MA or MD zones. You can choose either MA or MD for your area and this will not affect your permit or vouchers.
Hours of operation
You can read hours of operation for each zone below or on signs in the area.

Other restrictions including yellow lines
- Some bus lanes are restricted from 7am.
- Single yellow lines are usually restricted by the same hours of operation as the zone they are in. Some single yellow lines are restricted from 8am and other times. Please read signs to make sure you are parking legally.
- You cannot park on double yellow lines at any time.

Bank holiday parking
On bank holidays, when Arsenal is not playing at home, motorists can park in any resident parking bay or pay and display bay in Islington for free.
You cannot park on double yellow lines or in dedicated disabled bays at any time.
You must have the appropriate permit to park in a car club bay or doctors bay.
If there is an event at Emirates Stadium, check the zone signs before you park.
