Havas Platform x LIFT

6-month paid internship and learning programme for people wanting to get into the advertising, communication, and media industry. Programme runs from October 2023 - March 2024.

Havas Platform x LIFT programme is a unique placement experience. It’s a 6-month in-depth learning experience for people wanting to get into the advertising, communication, and media industry. The programme is ideal for anyone who likes brands, culture, and communication. You’ll be a part of the real team, working on real briefs, doing real work, for real clients.

Not only will you be in a focused job paying London Living Wage (£11.95 per hour) for 6 months, learning from the best in our industry and doing amazing work, but you will also receive additional employability support to help boost your employment prospects in the future.

The programme will be based within Havas Kings Cross, Havas’s London office, which is home to 24 agencies which all share the same office space, with the aim to increase collaboration and communication between all their people and agencies.

We are looking for entrepreneurial, innovative, accountable, committed, and collaborative candidates. You don’t need any previous experience or specific skills: we’re more interested in what you will bring, not what you can already do. You will need to choose a Platform pathway you wish to apply for so please explore all of the options below.

The LIFT and Havas teams will provide mentoring and coaching throughout the internship journey and offer ongoing support at the end of the placement to help plan the next steps in the creative sector.

What will you gain from the Havas Platform x LIFT Programme?

• 6 months of paid work experience in a Havas business, full time, paid at London Living Wage (£11.95 per hour),
• The opportunity to work within a creative advertising business, contributing to real projects and being an important part of a team
• Access to a training program which will run in tandem with the placement for ½ a day a week alongside support around starting out in the creative sector and continuing to develop following the programme. 
• Mentoring and support from the LIFT and Havas teams to help develop skills and support their journey.
• Peer-2-peer support throughout the programme

Eligibility

• A resident of a LIFT borough (Camden, Hackney, Islington, and Tower Hamlets) 
• Are Aged 18-25 or Aged 25+ and from an underrepresented community including people from black and Asian minority ethnic backgrounds, women, lone parents and those with a disability. 
• Have a keen interest in starting a career in the advertising, communication, and media industry 
• Are looking to take your first steps in the sector with a paid internship 
• Are available and committed to paid work for the full 6-month placement 
• The programme will run from October 2023 – March 2024 and you must be available for full time work for the duration of the programme to be considered.

The Havas Platform x LIFT programme starts on 11 October 2023 and will run until March 2024, all participants should be able to commit to the duration of the programme.
