Elections on 2 May

Elections for the next Mayor of London and London Assembly members, as well as the by-election for Hillrise ward, will take place on Thursday 2 May.

You must now show photo ID when you vote at polling stations. See a full list of accepted forms of ID. You can also apply for a free Voter Authority Certificate in place of photo ID. The deadline to apply for this is 5pm, Wednesday 24 April.

Signpost newsletter

SignPost is a BSL newsletter featuring news, information and events relevant to deaf and hard of hearing residents in the borough. You can view more BSL videos about our services and the assistance we offer on the Islington Signpost YouTube page.

Sign Language Interpreting Services

We provide access to services for deaf residents such as British Sign Language interpreting, videophone interpreting and we give advice about getting help in the borough.

Sensory Team

Our Sensory Team provides services and information to residents in the borough who require Deaf or Hard of Hearing (HoH) services, Visual Impairment (VI) services and Deafblind services.
