Consultation intro/summary : Islington council is seeking your views on proposals to improve road safety conditions at Riversdale Road junction with Blackstock Road/Highbury Park. These improvements are being proposed to address the current accidents which are occurring at the junction. The proposals include:
- Raising the existing Zebra crossing on Highbury Park to form a speed table to reduce traffic speeds on approach
- Moving the Bus Stop further away from the junction to improve visibility at the junction
- Changing the position of existing parking bays
- Installing kerb build-outs to physically narrow the carriageway
