What's on
Islington Museum's permanent display includes objects and stories from Islington’s local history, from prehistory to today. Most of our collection is from the 1700s onwards.
Meet me on the green: 900 years in the heart of Clerkenwell
'Meet me on the green' is a look at Clerkenwell’s history through the themes of water, protest, and entertainment. It pairs murals painted by Hugh Myddelton Primary School pupils with our collections. Many of the objects on display are newly acquired or have never been displayed before.
The exhibition is on until 14 November 2023. It was created in partnership with Islington Heritage’s 'Clerkenwell Green: 21st Century Common' project.
